Exhibition: Zumu Museum's 4th edition, Kiryat Yam.
ZUMU travels to a new city every few months and works closely with local authorities to establish city specific contemporary art museum in a previously abandoned building or neglected public space. In each host city, ZUMU has a slightly different look and feel, but each iteration commissions both leading and emerging artists from various artistic disciplines, and engages the community through cultural and educational programming, including interactive workshops for local school groups, children, youth and adults. The museum is free and open to the public for a designated period of time, after which we continue an ongoing relationship with the community to leverage the project's impact into a long-term commitment to the arts.
