This week the Israeli art community mourns the tragic loss of French/Israeli artist Benjamin Mecz.
He was riding his bicycle in Tel Aviv, when he was fatally hit by a motorcycle, he was only 32.

I didn't know Ben very well and my encounters with him were always brief - in openings, saying hello at bars, crossing paths with mutual acquaintances, but I was always impressed by the magic and light radiating from him.

I am sending my condolences to his family and loved ones.

May his memory be forever a blessing.
Que ton souvenir et ton art, Benjamin, soient à jamais source de bénédiction.
